Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures

Physical Demands

• Stock product weighing up to 45 pounds and place items on shelves at various heights
• Perform various physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties according to standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Operate necessary equipment safely and effectively
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can work independently or in a team
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
