Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and maintaining a well-stocked store environment. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies, Mindsets, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies and maintain document confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience with general cleaning duties and following company procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience in a related field.
