Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Skills in using equipment like electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
