Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. This role involves responsibilities such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange stock
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Proficiency in general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
