Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining the overall store appearance. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures
  • Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail work experience preferred
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
