Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness in the store, and display merchandise neatly
- Assist customers and provide exceptional service
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling procedures
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of following company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team setting
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- A combination of education and experience is considered
