Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) guidelines consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing their needs.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.
  • Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient and accurate operation of cash register.
  • Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Capacity to work independently and within a team.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales.

Educational Background and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
