Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. This is a full-time position, with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
  • Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent is acceptable.
