Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and deliver exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Stock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and ensure product availability
- Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Handle cash transactions following company policies
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience in retail is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages following local regulations
