Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the rest of the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and engaging with the team.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
• Participate in store inventory counts following guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures for security.
• Comply with all established company policies to maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation.
• Safe and proper equipment operation.
• Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
