Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and ensuring efficient stocking of products. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week and starts at a competitive wage of $19.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide courteous and efficient customer service.
- Proficient in using cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of following company cleaning standards and policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
