Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. By collaborating with team members and communicating effectively, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases and stock shelves neatly
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate clearly with team members and management
- Conduct inventory counts and monitor accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company procedures and maintain security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous service
- Efficient cash register operation
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent knowledge from education and experience
