Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. By collaborating with team members and communicating effectively, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
  • Process customer purchases and stock shelves neatly
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate clearly with team members and management
  • Conduct inventory counts and monitor accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company procedures and maintain security
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous service
  • Efficient cash register operation
  • Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work independently and in a team environment
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
  • Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent knowledge from education and experience
