Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Job Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to operate cash registers and equipment
  • Capable of performing cleaning and stocking tasks
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent
