Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Job Type
- Full-Time position.
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week.
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate core competencies and professionalism as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts following guidelines.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficient in prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and handle equipment responsibly.
- Skilled in general cleaning duties and adhering to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
