Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and keep merchandise displays organized
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and data confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Knowledge and application of company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail preferred
