Fairview Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their Hygiene Team. This full-time position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule with no evenings or weekends required. The team prides itself on collaboration and a fun working environment, providing 60-minute patient appointments, lunch breaks, and strong mentorship opportunities. The location is 2901 W Broadway Suite 109, Columbia, MO 65203.

Responsibilities:

• Provide elite clinical care as a Dental Assistant and patient advocate.
• Work as an integral member of the patient care team to deliver exceptional lifetime care.
• Participate in ongoing education and mentorship programs to enhance clinical skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current or soon-to-be licensed Dental Assistant in Missouri.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient care documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience:

• Years of clinical experience.
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital tools, and electronic medical records.
• Desire for continuous learning and growth in clinical skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Capacity to lift up to 45 pounds when necessary.
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
