Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced District Manager to join our team at Aldi in the Greater Watertown NY Region. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the operations of an entire district, overseeing up to six stores, and leading employees to drive sales growth for one of the fastest-growing US grocery retailers. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $95,000 with additional benefits, including a signing bonus and salary increases over time.
Responsibilities
- Assess, establish, and implement store staffing levels.
- Develop action plans to improve operating results.
- Ensure adherence to company merchandising plans.
- Recruit, recommend, and train team members.
- Review competitive pricing and provide product feedback.
- Manage store compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Knowledge of human resource management.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel daily with a company car.
