Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, setting goals aligned with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Analyze and address issues with investigational sites, CRAs, and CROs.
• Manage clinical teams and provide input into CRO and vendor selection.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations, ICH GCPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Deep understanding of metrics, KPIs, and clinical trial technology.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Compensation

The base pay for this role ranges from $256,000 to $384,000, with additional eligibility for annual bonuses and equity grants. Jazz Pharmaceuticals offers competitive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, and paid vacation.
