Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals as the leader of Late Stage Oncology Clinical Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, driving strategic planning, managing operational costs, and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time. As a key member of the Global Clinical Development Operations leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to develop life-changing medicines for patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all operational aspects of the Jazz late stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines.
  • Influence development team decisions to enable high-quality clinical trial protocols.
  • Analyze issues with investigational sites, CRAs, and CROs, and develop action plans.
  • Provide mentorship to staff, set aligned goals, and build high-performing clinical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
  • Expertise in clinical research functions, ICH GCPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of clinical operations, metrics, and innovation strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
