Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
- Manage inventory on the service truck and document work orders accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to work varied hours.
- Proficiency in electronic work order processing and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications and welding experience.
- CDL is a plus.
Working Conditions
This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions; the ability to meet physical job requirements is essential.
