Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall performance, and developing action plans while fostering team growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the direct leader to improve operating results.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for the team.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Communicate company strategy and values to promote teamwork.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments.
- Participate in the recruitment process and provide product feedback.
- Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise daily operations and ensure high-quality customer service.
Requirements
- 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Experience in budgeting and personnel management.
- Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years retail experience; management experience a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
