Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall performance, and developing action plans while fostering team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the direct leader to improve operating results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Communicate company strategy and values to promote teamwork.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments.
  • Participate in the recruitment process and provide product feedback.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise daily operations and ensure high-quality customer service.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Experience in budgeting and personnel management.
  • Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years retail experience; management experience a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
