Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager at ALDI and take on key store management responsibilities. You will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational action plans, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Ensure a sense of teamwork and membership among employees by modeling core values.
• Monitor the competitive environment to maintain the company's position.
• Provide feedback on products and participate in the interviewing process.
• Maintain inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
• Ensure operational customer concerns are addressed promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalate issues, and ensure high levels of customer service.

Physical Demands

Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk around the store.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Provide courteous customer service and lead by example.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate performance and drive results.
• Operate a cash register and equipment safely.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in retail.
• Prior management experience preferred.
