Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include developing operational action plans, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
• Supervise and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training needs for team members to improve performance.
• Ensure adherence to company values, create a sense of teamwork, and monitor the competitive environment.
• Participate in the hiring process and provide product feedback to management.
• Maintain inventory procedures, uphold cleanliness standards, and optimize product displays.
• Manage stock levels, payroll, and facilitate training for new employees.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior retail experience and management skills are preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to interpret company policies and drive team performance.
• Skilled in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with prior management experience.
