Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will take on key responsibilities in store management, including supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans to enhance the team's growth.


  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports for desired outcomes.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitive position.
  • Assist in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed.


  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Leadership abilities to guide and support direct reports.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Operational and budgeting management skills.
  • Previous retail and management experience preferred.
