Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As an Assistant Store Manager, your role will involve assisting with managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring operational excellence. You will play a key part in developing action plans, training staff, and maintaining the store's performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the market and suggest adjustments to stay competitive.
- Participate in the hiring process and provide feedback on products.
- Ensure inventory procedures and customer service standards are met.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, resolving issues as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Ability to stock merchandise, perform physical tasks, and work independently or in a team.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Understanding of company policies - Ability to set and achieve goals - Cash register operation and equipment handling skills - Organizational and multitasking abilities - Compliance with state and local regulations
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Minimum 3 years retail experience - Management experience is a plus
