Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations. As a Store Associate, you will handle various responsibilities, including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrated customer service and cash handling skills.
- Operational knowledge of equipment and ability to perform cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
