Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and offers exceptional service to customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Work independently and within a team environment
- High school diploma preferred, prior retail experience a plus
