Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with the ALDI team. This position offers 32-40 hours per week, starting at $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe use of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
• Capability to meet company cleaning standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Prior retail experience is preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience is a plus
