Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a crucial role in maintaining the store's excellent appearance and delivering exceptional customer service. As part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products and inventory issues
- Conduct store inventory counts according to guidelines
- Follow cash policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment such as hand jack and floor scrubber
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
