Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Participate in store inventory procedures and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Skilled in using store equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Ability to meet state requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
