Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Full-Time Store Associate, where you will contribute to the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate store equipment
- Maintain cleanliness according to company standards
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work effectively both independently and in a team
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- Prior retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
