Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate working 32-40 hours per week. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in store inventory counts and follow cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while upholding document security and data confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment efficiently.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
