Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team, demonstrate outstanding customer service, and contribute to the overall store operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products and inventory to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
- Comply with established company policies, maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper equipment operation
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude for independent and team work
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience equivalent considered
