Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Customer service and cash register skills.
• Ability to operate store equipment safely and effectively.
• General cleaning ability and adherence to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability.
• Compliance with local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
