Job Description
As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the store's standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
- Follow company policies and procedures accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle multiple tasks professionally
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
