Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous
  • Combination of education and experience considered
