Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to company cash policies to minimize losses and uphold security measures.
- Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
