Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative spirit will contribute to providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
- Process customer purchases, manage cleaning duties, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on product quality, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent loss and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and meet ALDI's employment requirements.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of general cleaning duties and adhering to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
