Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your duties will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and carry out various physical tasks
• Engage in activities like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking
• Meet physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operations
• Able to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
