Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate closely with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Skilled in equipment operation and general cleaning duties.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
