Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with stocking and merchandising duties. You will work closely with the ALDI team to ensure a positive and efficient store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
