Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members, delivering exceptional customer service, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Conduct inventory counts and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies while safeguarding documents and data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Capable of operating a cash register accurately.
• Able to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job requirements.
