Job Description

Position: Full-Time Store Associate
Salary: $16.00 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Able to perform cleaning duties and follow company policies.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
