Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, organize shelves, and assist customers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures.
• Perform any other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and place products on shelves weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Follow company cleaning, safety, and operational procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
