Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandise stocking, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and identify issues for improvement.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies, comply with company procedures, and ensure document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of meeting state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
