Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance of the store, assisting customers, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting physical demands and company standards for cleanliness.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
