Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store. Join us in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and any concerns to management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash management policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation
- Safe and proper equipment operation
- General cleaning duties maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
