Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly and provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, cleaning, and collaborating with the Aldi team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory management and follow cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold security measures, and handle documents with confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role.
