Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store runs smoothly, from merchandising to cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize errors.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement for employment is 18 years.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Ability to operate store equipment safely and properly.
• Capable of meeting cleaning standards and following policies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Compliance with alcoholic beverage handling regulations.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
