Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-merchandised, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies while performing daily duties.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers in their shopping experience by providing outstanding service.
- Work cooperatively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and team player.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience is advantageous.
